Modern day
medical science most often offers
only temporary relief and rarely
a cure. Modern day scientific
reductionism is very different
from the truths of health and
healing that the fathers of
medicine discovered in the past.
They understood the human organism
to be an indivisible whole.
All aspects of our life (health,
history, relationships, rest,
food, state of mind, lifestyle
and environment) are intertwined
and are both causal and effectual.
We are holistic creatures and
need to be treated as such.
|
It is known that our body is a magical
system and has the innate capability
to heal itself – given the right
conditions. Add to this the subtle
but dominant power of the mind and
the innate wisdom of the soul, and
you have a powerful being in the
human form. |
Diseases like diabetes, cholesterol,
allergies, autoimmune disease, cancer
and obesity, take 20 to 40 years
to form in our body. Conversely,
when the body is given the right
conditions to heal, the healing
does not take the same time as it
took for the disease to be formed,
but the body reverses the disease
rapidly, sometimes within weeks.
This explains the ‘miracle cures’
we have heard constantly of spontaneous
remissions for cancer, cholesterol
blocks being cleared, blood sugar
coming to normal for a diabetic,
etc. now we know that this is no
miracle – this is just allowing
the body to heal, creating conditions
for healing, allowing you to reconnect
to yourself, naturally. |
At Our Native Village all the healing
is facilitated by taking a holistic
perspective to the human system
– working at multiple levels to
achieve healing – at the levels
of the body, mind and soul. |
The
Experience |
|
All this is done in a joyful, relaxed
and liberating manner in a beautiful
setting. You will punctuate your
healing sessions with fun filled
village activities like kite flying,
pot making, gilli danda or going
on a bullock cart ride to help you
appreciate the simple joys of life.
You will watch inspirational films,
swim in a fully natural pond style
swimming pool, try your hand at
some organic farming, or just watch
the cows graze while gently rocking
on a hammock. You will end the day
singing around a bonfire or dancing
on an open to sky dance floor around
a fire, or just quietly snuggling
up with a great book. |
